On January 31st Skpe introduces Skype 2.5 for the Macintosh.

Although the Skype beta for Mac has been arround for a while, you can now download the golden master for Skype 2.5 at:
When a product moves for being beta to going "gold" it means that the product has survived extensive testing and review.
- Some new features in Skype 2.5 for Mac include:
- The ability to send SMS text messages
Support for 10 person conference calls (it used to support only 5 people, but we submitted this one as a bug on Mac Intel platform during beta testing)
